RED is a public charity nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation. RED engineers evidence-based rehabilitation programs for nonviolent youthful offenders. RED’s mission is to increase literacy, reduce poverty and stop recidivism.
Our annual charity flag football fundraiser tournament goal is to raise $100,000.00. In order to meet this goal, we are asking for sponsorships from local businesses and individuals such as yourself.
By sponsoring this annual event, you’ll be supporting RED in anti-recidivism research and evidence based program development and administration. Specifically, the contributed funds will provide support for up to 30 participants with regard to the implementation and execution of our program’s level of service intake, workshops for reading and writing comprehension, anger-management and self-control, cognitive skill development, civic literacies such as assertion of civil rights and voting rights, financial literacy such as debit and credit account management, social literacies such as LinkedIn accounts and resume-writing, GED course and examination, vocational programs (e.g., culinary, auto mechanics and customer service), mentor vetting and assignment, community outreach events (e.g., collaborations with City of Refuge and Bright Futures Academy), pro-social leisure activities (e.g. collaborations with Civil Rights Museum and Atlanta Braves) and all incidental costs associated with the aforementioned processes.
